Our customer is a world-leading textile machine manufacturer providing equipment and systems all over the world. Since the terminal factory is often located in incomplete public power facilities with unstable power supply there can be damage the factory equipment. Furthermore, with inexperienced operators the equipment can lose power unexpectedly, causing the entire system to lose transmitted data and fail to restart.

2.5” SATA SSD with Power Loss Protection (PLP) function to protect data from lost during a sudden power off when SSD drive is under programming or writing.
Results
The customer implements UDinfo’s suggestion, using 2.5” SATA SSD with Power Loss Protection (PLP) function, which can completely protect the customer's data, and equipment and systems from failure again due to abnormalities with power failure. It also helped our customer to reduce unnecessary production cost expenditure.
