2.5” SATA SLC SSD on Automation Application
2.5” SATA is the most common form factor for data storage as Hard-Disk Drive (HDD). Due to the capacity flexibility and fast response of Solid-State Drive (SSD), it has replaced some applications for HDD.
One of our major customers use UDinfo 2.5” SATA SSD on their automation control system. They choose Single-Level Cell (SLC) NAND as their media, since SLC has the best reliability and program/erase (P/E) cycle up to 60,000. Compared with 3,000 for Multi-Level Cell (MLC) and 300~1000 for Tri-Level Cell (TLC), SLC is the best choice for industrial applications.
In high-end automation control system, it requires stability and reliability for data write and read continuously. Therefore UDinfo 2.5” SATA SSD is their best choice.
