microSSD (uSSD) Application on Gaming System

microSSD is a Ball-Grid Array (BGA) packaged SATA SSD. It follows JEDEC MO-276 spec. with size at 16x20x1.4 (mm), 156 balls. It acts the same as a SATA SSD, but extreme small size, which is its best advantage.

Due to its small size and SMT characteristic, a Taiwanese customer used two microSSD on its gaming machines; one is for gaming OS and the other is for data. Since gaming application wants to make sure there will be any change on the gaming OS part, it is good to separate OS and data into 2 drives.

Our microSSD can support Quick-Erase and Write-Protection functions. It fits into a very small host board with wide applications. Same as other UDinfo products, our microSSD can offer I-temp (-40 ˚C~ 85 ˚C) option, which is the best solution for outdoor products.
